Also, Rolling Stones - Let It Bleed
and the newest White Stripes, which is surprisingly good. I'm not a huge WS fan, but there's some very cool production stuff on this record.
I'm also listening to my mix CD of Shellac, Unwound, Blonde Redhead, Liars, etc.

Bah. It's everywhere, weener. Love what you love. When I was doing sound for Erase Errata last time at modified (I had never heard of them before) I thought while they were setting up, "WTF, these gals aren't going to be any good, they're all like 16!" But then they rocked and I was like, "Purty good for a bunch of 16-year olds. They must practice a lot." Then after the show I found out they were all like in their thirties and I felt like a lameass.
That's what's keeping me capable.
EDIT: And yeah. System of a Down is really cool. The aforementioned logic is why I like them.

A) I do NOT doubt your intelligence.OK, now I would ask you what is this "it," that is so everywhere, but then you'd probably doubt my intelligence even more.
B ) "It" is personal preference. And it fucking rules.
