i was so disilusioned with some of the stuff he's put out prior, but after a handful of listens, i find it beautifully authentic (something lacking with 'rock n' roll', etc...), (finally) unpretentious (lyrically and otherwise), singing about his hometown, etc... eventually, i really connected with it.
i don't really dig the norah jones "duet" though...
she's a talented young lady, but it doesn't work for me..
