Right now I’ve got interviews with a local musisican, fashion designer, comedian, plus art by local artists, and some writing and an article on how to start your own internet radio show.
SO I am looking for some writing, art, and bands to interview/review/whatever for this zine!!!!!!!!!!!
Please email me back at jackiogirl22@yahoo.com if you are interested in submitting some shit. Its good ole’ fashioned free publicity – trying to get the word out on what cool shit people are doing in Phoenix because sometimes its hard to find….
Any kind of art is acceptable as long as its will be able to be copyable. So if you got some art, want your band interviewed, local phoenix music you want to review or whatever let me know!!!!
Right now Your Invisible City will published through Desert City Death Distro (www.desertcitydeathdistro.150m.com) and Xerox Attack and I am looking into getting it out to other distros and stores in the US.
thanks

-trunkspaceAll the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

Sometimes I put them in record stores like Eastside, La Chinche, Stinkweeds...I guess keep your eyes out in the new Stinkweeds, I'll be heading over there with some soon.

And I agree, there's not nearly enough zines made by people in Phoenix! I've gotten lots of people to help out on all the issues of mine, people that had never even heard of zines before, because they thought it was a good idea. More people should definitely do zines.

The zine-making thing, he got it from me, only his zines suck balls and my zines rule. I guess that's what happens when you emulate your little sister...you end up sucking.
Actually I've only read "Life in the Bike Lane", and oh my god, is that one ever bad. It's all about how he "liberated" himself from driving cars because they suck and they're bad for the environment and blah blah blah, but I know the real truth...he stopped driving because he couldn't drive without crashing. He got into a bunch of accidents, almost totalled my mom's car, and then decided to stop driving. So then he just had his girlfriend drive him around in her car, and started writing zines about how "liberated" a "choice" he made.
Dan sucks.
Just kidding, I love you, Dan. But your zine sucks.
