VHS or Beta is also coming to Tucson on Saturday. It sucks Phoenix isn't getting these shows. What's up with that?

i ask you.
this isn't to say there aren't cool things going on, it's just the way the hip intelligentsia perceives this place outside of here.
now take your tongue out of your cheek.

-trunkspaceAll the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

Their venues are within decent capacity ranges (200-700) and there are plenty of them. Tucson is a lot of fun - everything is way more condensed - unlike PHX where we have "pockets" of things to do - all of which are sorta exclusive of one another. (i.e. east valley v. central phx v. west valley, etc.) Don't get me wrong - I love PHX - but, you gotta admit our venue situation here ain't so great right now.

the promoters at the rialto and congress probably offer meals and lodging, plus a guarantee...
