#951417 AZ Cardinals give $10K to Anti-Marijuana Organization
Posted by gbell on 22 September 2010 - 03:22 PM
So ridiculous. Alcohol is WAY worse than marijuana.
It's true. Alcohol was my gateway drug to marijuana.
Marijuana was my gateway drug to Filabertos
Filabertos is the reason I go to the gym
I go work to pay for all of the above.
I drink alcohol because I work.
It's a vicious cycle. Please AZ Cardinals. I need your help too!

Great groupon today. $10 for $20 worth of food and drink at Honey Bears BBQ. I just got mine, can't wait to use it.

#949183 Fuck Cops!

As a full time firefighter and paramedic I have to say it would definitely suck to have every call video taped.. so much can be taken out of context. But, aside from that.. I think it's complete shit that someone would be arrested for it. I'm gonna have to look that up and see how they are justifying that. Doesn't seem like that's really valid.
Firefighters and paramedics are great. They are there to help. Cops are there to make you afraid.
I agree with the first two sentences. I only sort of agree with the third. In my working with cops, their job seems to normally be some sort of "scene control" such as keeping streets blocked, or bystanders clear so we at the fire department can safely do our job. Just like any profession out there however, there are good apples and bad apples. I have the ability to give medications that can potentially save someones life. Should I be on camera at all times while working? I can see the argument for why, but honestly, it seems like as soon as you use the "wrong tone", say the wrong thing, hell or even sneeze funny you'll end up on Nancy Grace and sued out of your job.
Normally I say if you have a problem bring a solution, but I really don't have a solution on this one. I don't think most people would want to be video taped all day at work. Feels very George Orwell 1984.
On the flip side of that.. I definitely think there should be a camera going anytime they run a field sobriety test on someone. Those lying bastard pigs gave my buddy a DWI who was well within the legal limit and lied in their written report on how he was acting. I was there . They ended up fucking him by giving him "impaired to the slightest degree" which means he was under the limit but we still want to fuck you.
Almost cost him his career because of it.
Yea, Fuck Cops.
