I was born in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. I moved here to Arizona when I was 16 years old. I love painting, drawing and anything art-related. I am a proud parent of one (soon two) baby. My art work can be seen at my online gallery www.dsattic.com

i buy that and then i also don't. i get pretty pissed when i'm watching
soccer and someone i'm watching it with complains about a person crying on
the ground. you never played soccer fool. sure, some people do play it up,
but that SHIT HURTS. you don't become a superhero when you play pro soccer.
hits hurt.
I agree with you... but it happens more than you would want it to. This is from someone who has played soccer (or futbol-as I call it) all of his life... and mostly in the streets of Mexico... believe me, I know it hurts.

oh man i've been watching this whole series and WOW.
what a series!!!
Brazil v. US in the semi-finals was the most insane game i've ever seen!
and japan. Damn. it's hard to hate on them. they played such a patient, solid game. I really really really thought it was going to be the US this year. But you can't fuck up 3 penalty kicks and call yourselves champions.
congrats to Japan!
and congrats to all the teams for playing some fine soccer. made the boy's teams look like such actors!
Yeap, a few days later I was watching Argentina vs Uruguay... and man! They were falling and crying for every contact... its insane how much of it is just trying to get the referee to buy it.

this is the first thing i thought...it's not really a good icebreaker.
I'm in therapy and it is always the way I start a conversation.
how about saving that for later? someone who mentions therapy randomly
(not relevant to the conversation at hand) when meeting someone for the
first time = needs to tell their therapist that at the next session
LOL

As someone who has attended therapy off an on his whole life, I find it attractive to know that someone is making a conscientious effort to fix something they don't like about themselves, or something that is hindering themselves in some way.
However, there is also a lot of room for over-dramatization here, and if going to therapy is some sort of plea for pampering or special attention, then that person is going for all the wrong reasons.
All that being said, I voted "attractive."
EDIT 1: I first thought this had something to do with the band.
EDIT 2: Well done, including Vin-Fiz.
I completely agree with you (to some extent). I, too, have attended therapy. You mentioned:
1) "I find it attractive to know that someone is making a conscientious effort to fix something..."
2) "if going to therapy is some sort of plea for pampering or special attention, then that person is going for all the wrong reasons."
But since we don't know, we don't know the reason, is it still "attractive"? Would you make those assumptions-based on what? (I'm not attacking you, just trying to understand the reasoning).
(And thank you... I didn't want to get lynched on here by forgetting Vin-Fiz)
