Unbroken and Universal Order of Armageddon alone make that festival worth the trip.

If I went, it'd just be to see Death From Above 1979. Never got a chance to see them play.

I would advocate handling them in the manner that the San Diego ComiCon did, when they decided to protest last year.

#917283 2010 World Cup

2-0 Ghana

The US wants it badly enough, but Ghana are just better organized with the ball. Although I think Clint Dempsey just may kill someone if he doesn't score a goal in this game. I just hope Bob Bradley has the good sense to never, ever, ever again sub in or start Buddle. That guy is just a fucking disaster on the field. And why didn't he play Torres? Yeah he's small, but he worked his ass off in the match against Slovenia and made some really great plays. Not to mention his free kick from just outside the box.

England vs USA = this is gonna be a close game i think. probably a draw

Typically the US has a strong game, a weak game, and then a so so game (in that order). So if they have any shot at beating England, it will be in that first group match. That being said, I don't think they will do it. While Dempsey and Donovan can get the ball to up top, the rest of the midfield is a missing some much needed depth. As for defense, Bocanegra is an alright defender, and I don't get the fascination with Onyewu. He's big. But that's pretty much all he has going for him. Not to mention he's coming off a knee injury. Cherundolo is the real workhorse of the defense (not to mention a grossly underestimated player). The one thing they have going for them is that England typically doesn't play well as a team. Individually, I'd argue that they always have one of the most talented teams in the world. But for some odd reason, they just never pull it together as a team.

/End geeky football/soccer rant.

Head to Berkley and check out Rasputin Records and the Amoeba records there. There's also another Amoeba in the Haight that's pretty fucking fantastic.
