Well, I'm not rich/privileged enough yet to rent out Pizzaria Bianca for my birthday *cough* Cartel *cough*, but I'm throwing Xanadu a birthday show with music and beer. $10 gets you in to see AJJ, Sweetbleeders, Fatigo AND AND AND beer from our keg. We're also going to be serving coffee with a few select liquors you can add yourself. It's going to be Rad with a capitol R.

Xanadu Turns 1 Year Old. Party Dec. 12th
02 December 2009 - 07:42 AM
Sunday nights at San Carlos
18 May 2009 - 10:51 AM
Hey guys, so as some of you know, we had our maximum capacity drastically reduced last year so Adult Swim has moved on (to the wyndham i think?) so instead this year we're having smaller more intimate pool parties hosted by Djentrification. Last night was our first party and it went really well. We start at 5:30, there's a $5 cover charge and we can only have 50 ppl on the deck at a time so you have to come early if you want to make sure there's room...
It's a total balst, lots of fun Dj's and music, artists, a pool, people can smoke and the drinks prices are pretty fair as well. Stop by and check it out next Sunday.

Top 3 post-apocalyptic worlds?
15 April 2009 - 05:03 PM
So I was thinking last night about which would post-apocalyptic worlds I'd want to live in the most as well as the worst 3.
Top 3:
1) Fallout. Duel wield desert eagles while indiscriminately mowing down gangsters, prostitutes, mutants, and kids. All in a post-apocalyptic days work.
2) Mad Max. Not really sure why, maybe just cause I feel like I'd have more of a chance.
3) 28 Days later. I had a hard time picking which zombie world to use, but Godspeed really won me over on this one. I don't really mind getting chased down by super-agile flesh-eating zombies as long as there's wonderful Canadian-born orchestral rock playing in the background.
Bottom 3:
1) Water World. Just lame all around. That and growing up in Arizona I'm much more comfortable with everything being turned into desert instead of water.
2) The Road. Probably the only scenario in which I really hope I just die in whatever cataclysmic event that causes the mass extinction of man.
3) War of the Worlds. I don't want Tom Cruise to be the savior of man. ever. Funny how similar the events in this movie are to what Tom Cruise actually beleives is going to happen.
