Side note on Ingrid - she's a great one to get early and train up through the classes, as she gets Lord-level stat growth and becomes a complete house. From what I understand master classes in general have worse stat growth? But I have no idea how to check it, some of the UI in FE3H is godawful.

Having fun with my Eagles still - recruited Lystheia since I heard she's nuts (she did one shot the

), but creep master Hubert is still just deleting entire maps by himself. I dunno if I got lucky on his stat growths or what, but he's level 19 and has nearly 30 MAG, oh my days. Lystheia is the same level and has.. 23?

It is! I recorded the whole thing and will attempt to upload when my damn phone decides it uploads things again.

Philly show was a super fun monday night speedrun. Saw the folks, DF and BB played the hits, then I drove off to work at 6:30 in the morning. A+++ would do again.

Also playing fire emblem, also loving it. Really enjoy how deep they made the character interactions, they feel more real than trope-y like what I remember of Awakening.

It was a very tough decision between Golden Deer and Black Eagles for me, but went BE because she's clearly a Targaryen (silver hair, purple eyes, empire, black and red house colors? c'mon, intelligent systems). And just seemed the most interesting.

I completely disagree with that, but well opinions man.

I like Sekiro because it is focused - I like the idea of meeting the game on its own terms and mastering the playstyle. They wanted to tell a specific story and create a specific way you interact with the game and I'm fine with that. I get way more satisfaction out of mastering a Sekiro boss than a Souls one.

That said, I'm the kind of person that enjoys playing a game once and moving on - I rarely replay stuff. I loved exploring the Souls world, but the builds and everything else held very little interest to me. By a certain point the games just feel like a slog and I lose any sense of accomplishment because once I find a build that works, it just feels like rinse repeat for the rest of the game, and I don't want the time investment of making a new build. I realize that Sekiro could be categorized as "rinse repeat for the rest of the game" too, but I feel the bosses and enemies are varied enough that I'm always enjoying fighting, as opposed to bored.

Damn Jer, I don't think you could sum it up more succinctly. The more I actually think about the episode, the more disappointed I am.
