I am almost done with Dear Diary by Lesley Arfin. Next up: Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole. This will be the second time reading it, but this time it is for a book club. Oh man! I turned 57 and joined a book club!
Ignatius J. Reilly is one of my favorite characters of all time, whether it be book, TV, movie or real life.

It's ok, Jacki. There are a lot of funny parts in it, but it is basically her doing commentary on select entries from her teenage diary. She also interviews a lot of people from her past, which is, at times, pretty funny. The whole beginning is slightly boring and I keep waiting for her to get on with the drugs. It's very comparable to her column in Vice.
