Colin dry hopped my Pete's last night. I little bit later than the recipe recommended, but I was too lazy to get over there and do it myself. My Newcastle clone keeps getting better and better as it ages. I only have a few bottles left though, which is sad. A+++ recipe would brew again!

hmmm...that's probably a good idea. thanks, doc!If possible, I'd suggest waiting until Wednesday. It may not make much of a difference, but with the foaming over you had as well as the late start your yeast got, you might want to give it a full two weeks.

actually, i was talking to lkelly last night and we decicded that we should all drink my homebrews on labor day. they're supposed to age for 2 weeks, but by labor day they should have some carbonation so f it, it'll be drinkytime.

meh, carbonation's overrated, but drinking isn't. i think you'll be pleasantly surprised.i'm planning on bringing 12 out with me, so you guys better grab one before they're all gone.

In other news, we drank a few of my last batch, which I though was a bust after the first 3 bottles or so. Turns out it's a bit hit or miss, but some of the bottles are quite tasty. The rest of the batch will be a nice guessing game. I'll take the red snapper.

Your housewarming is going to be awesome now that you're getting a keg of PBR.

The 15th my current fridge goes into the basement. So yeah, this weekend I'm brewing a lager. Going to be nuuuuts.

Wow, I am pooped, this weekend was bloody fun and tiring....
so we have a cherry stout (colin's), a coffee stout (Matsu's), and a blueberry hefe (mine) going....hopefully they'll be nice and tasty!
I'm a bit miffed with the one-week-aged result of my smoked porter...it's ludicrously light and lacking in body, but has a hint of smokiness or so. I don't know what happened, except that I DID add in a quarter pound more wheat than what the recipe called for. I wonder how that would affect the overall flavor. Nonetheless, it'll be an easy drink to down since it's so light

My Pete's tastes exactly like all other beers I've ever made. Awesome.
Again, good thing there's a keg of PBR.
