pomegranate wine sounds good!!

where does everyone get their supplies? I go to the Brewer's Connection but the guy who owns it really likes Lord of the Rings.

I go to the Homebrew depot on Guadalupe between Dobson and McClintock in Tempe.

Set up my kegging systems a few weeks ago. It's awesome, sooooooooo much more convenient than bottling! I'll be taking this baby to Colin's party tonight, it's about 4 gallons full, so hopefully we'll do a number on it! Got a Hophead IPA in there, one of the best ales I've brewed as I totally regulated the temperatures using a wet T shirt and kept fermentation down to about 60-63 F. No weird tastes, it's a nice one!

Woah, missed this reply, sorry Jacki!

Got the keg and regulator from my homebrew store...the CO2 tank was given to me by a friend...overall, it should cost around ~$120 or so...kinda hefty, so look on craigslist for CO2 tanks and used soda kegs!

I'd really like to brew again but have to wait for life to settle down a little bit. Hey, life, simmahdownnoh. Needs me some brew time.

That said, we brewed a cross contamination (hefeweisen recipe made with pale ale hops) and a pumpkin ale in the second half of the year.

so for any brewer's in Phoenix (mig - is the only person i know personally) i am having a brew party on thursday Dec. 28th starting at 9 at my house - gonna be brewing some stout.

all are welcome to come and drink beer (you can bring some homebrew if you want others to try) and talk homebrewin n' shit and brew beer.

there will be food and beer and bitches all supplied by me :)

PM me if you are interested, no?

even if you don't know how to brew beer, you can learn and drink (those two words don't often go together).

Nice! That sounds like fun.

I've got a shit ton of pale malt lying around so I hope to make another hophead brew, only with twice as much hops (mmmmmm), a high alcohol stout of some kind (any suggestions?), and a barley wine or strongass belgian. The hophead will go in the keg while the other two will need time to age in bottles.
