All the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

Wow. Lemon Krayola and One......

My old band THC used to play a lot of shows with those bands too. I still miss those old Edcel's Attic days.

the inbreds was a side band for grievous angles, and for me often more fun. i played drums.

how about the fake mccoys, ralo's old band.. i like them a lot too. saw them play with moris tepper at the congo, what a night that was.

i don't know if this is the place to mention these bands, but back on the cusp of the 90's when the gin blossoms were still playing sun club and wongs it was obvious they were on a different plain - songwriting, singing, dynamics (loud, soft), stage presence - than everybody else. and dead hot workshop had an especially inspired year where they played every wednesday at edsels and were doing some really unique, visceral, smart stuff....some seriously amazing shows.


i also remember seeing some good shows by beats the hell out of me
