I'm glad that Bands on Grand was still a success despite the weather. We al wanted rain, but why it have to hit last night?!
The organizers of this event should be proud, a great breath of life into phoenix music.
I wanna apologize on behalf of Cross Platform. Our gutarist's wife went into early contractions last night, and he couldn't quite make it to the show. I really wanted us to be a part of the event.
I hope this is the first of many Bands on Grand.

From the look of things at the Bikini last night, there were hangovers a-plenty for the Shizz community this am! There were two here at my house no thanks to the 3 hours of sleep I got!

i had so much fun playing with colorstore. thanks
for having me!!! fuck, that was amazing.
i had an incredible time at bikini. the dance party
was amazing...everyone was in the best mood...

i seriously needed to blow off some steam, and this was awsome.
i loved running from venue to venue. we also had some folks from chitown visiting, and they are going home to let everyone know the phoenix music scene is rad.
word to shane for bringing the great dj-ing skills
word to big pops for loaning me 3 dollars
and word to meatwhistle's last insane show. seriously insane.

bands on grand was a great thing, but in retrospect i'm really pissed off about one thing:
where the fuck was ILL MITCH?

bobby called me a hippie because i had to play without shoes at the phix. someone put chocolate syrup all over the stage, ahem *cough* (meatwhistle...
) and i was slipping around with my shoes on. then we went to bikini and there was a conga line. i never been in or even seen a conga line there. it was beautiful. ... and it's good to know i wasn't the only one with a killer hangover yesterday 
good times!

I just woke up... that was awesome.
I saw all the Fat Cats bands and they were really really good. I have never seen Colorstore and RTT, very impressed.
Did anyone get to see the Owners band pictures in the back room... he was the singer for Rip and Tear. Hair fest 84'.
Too bad I had to miss the Minibosses, I have never seen them either.

I had fun at this event. I REALLY like The Bodhi Tree.
