The organizers of this event should be proud, a great breath of life into phoenix music.
I wanna apologize on behalf of Cross Platform. Our gutarist's wife went into early contractions last night, and he couldn't quite make it to the show. I really wanted us to be a part of the event.
I hope this is the first of many Bands on Grand.

Great job Donald.
From the look of things at the Bikini last night, there were hangovers a-plenty for the Shizz community this am! There were two here at my house no thanks to the 3 hours of sleep I got!

i seriously needed to blow off some steam, and this was awsome.
i loved running from venue to venue. we also had some folks from chitown visiting, and they are going home to let everyone know the phoenix music scene is rad.
word to shane for bringing the great dj-ing skills
word to big pops for loaning me 3 dollars
and word to meatwhistle's last insane show. seriously insane.
thanks again to everyone!

-trunkspaceAll the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

where the fuck was ILL MITCH?
couldn't we have flown him out to headline this whole thing? i'm not going to point fingers, but somebody (donald) dropped the ball on this one.

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

I saw all the Fat Cats bands and they were really really good. I have never seen Colorstore and RTT, very impressed.
Did anyone get to see the Owners band pictures in the back room... he was the singer for Rip and Tear. Hair fest 84'.
Too bad I had to miss the Minibosses, I have never seen them either.

of saturday nite. including when matt got
slapped, or when that really drunk guy in
the hat was scratching shane's records,
and some random girl squeezed his junk
SO HARD, and he almost fell to his knees.
and she screamed 'DON'T BE AN ASSHOLE!'.
so awesome.

Thanks to all the bands, venues, and the people that worked hard to make this a reality.
Is this going to be an annual event?

THAT girl had to be hurtin' yesterday morning. She was in rare form.i went in the bikini for about 5 or 10 min. 'THE GIRL' i was with kept on bumping into the lights and turning the power off until the bartender yanked her over and said some shit. when 'THE GIRL' didnt come back, i left.
