What do you want in a venue?

another option might be to never charge a cover and pay the bands a pre-set percentage of the bar total. this was employed at emerald and i've seen it at a few other places. of course, this only works at a bar. so all ages shows wouldn't work. so fuck that idea.

we played a place where we could pick either cover or bar percentage. I thought that was cool. If you are unknown or a rockabilly band it might be a good idea to go with the bar.
