Thanks for all the tips! I am going to school for library science (for the person who asked).
I'll definitely try and make it to the show on Saturday. I've heard a lot of good things about Shark Pants.

Hey - my mom went to U of A for Library Science! I'd ask her what she liked to do while she was there but she's a boring old lady.

kewl.
another shizzite living in tucson.
there are tons of places to eat down here.
surprisingly, Tucson has quite a bit of sushi restaurants.
If you want some pizza, i'd suggest either Zachary's (which is right across the street from campus on 6th st)
or Rocco's (somewhere on Broadway)
There's mexican food all over the place.
If you want chinese, there's Gee's Garden. I've heard China Phoenix was good, but never have been. And yes, they both have dim sum.
Vietnamese restaurants here aren't to die for.
Bumsteads has amazing sandwiches. I prefer their sandwiches over Bisonwiches, but that's me. They're also on 4th ave.
Just as someone had already mentioned, Congress and plush has great music. They are my favorite places to go to.
As for bands, honestly to say, i only liked a few that i've seen and one of them stopped playing for some reason, the fashionistas. I also think Naim Amor is worth checking out. He's good some good shiot.

lame, the weekend we take a trip to tucson, shark pants plays the trunk space?
definately one of my favorite arizona bands, ALSO THE SWING DING AMIGOS are rad as well. oh and the fucking KNOCKOUT PILLS!
they are all kinda garage-ish, VIVA LOS FEDS (not "the FEDS", also a late tucson band) VIVA THE BLACKS! VIVA WEIRD LOVE MAKERS!
shizz bands really need to start booking in nogales, seriously

-trunkspaceAll the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.
