That was an amazing performance in the fourth quarter. I rarely get to see a team completely shut down the Spurs like the Suns managed to do at the end of the game last night. Lock down!

I will never get tired of seeing teams drive into the lane only to be greeted by 325 pounds of Shaq, and then being forced to kick it back out. Drive it in, kick it out.

And the playoffs are just around the corner!

So now the Shaq deals seems like a good idea...I admit i was a bit skeptical at first, but the suns ave realy gotten it together and figured out how to ride the Shaq bus when they need to. Especially when they are in the lead...just walk it down and dump it into shaq...a good strategy to eat the clock up. They just need to continue to play lock down defense.

my hopes ideally:

1) get a win in SA, head back to phx 1-1
2) get 2 wins in sa, head back to phx 2-0
3) get 2 wins in phx, win it all 4-0
4) get 2 winx in phx, head back to sa 3-1
5) win it all somehow

that did suck. even though the officiating was horrible, at least it horrible for both teams. somehow, that was refreshing.

I truned if off after the tird...could nto watch that terrible lack of drive, intensity and offense. It seems that everytime the suns play the Spurs in the post season they seem to forget that they can beat them. Then again the Spurs seem to be a different beast in the post season than in the regular season. The whole "hck aShaq" technique in the third though really pssed me off even though it was legal it was actully really lame and cheap. Its sort of like Street fighter 2 turbo edition...even though it is not cheating to play as Ryu or Ken and throw continuos fireballs and pin your oppenent in the corner so they can't even get up to counter attack...its still pretty cheap and would sometimes end up getting you beat up at the arcade... i just hope at this point the Suns can bounce back win 4 out of 5...but it isn't going to be easy.

I was completely numbed after last night. I'm going to watch the rest of the series but knowing it's (most likely) going to result in a first round exit for the Suns is EXTREMELY disheartening. I need Barack Obama to give me a speech about the Suns to inspire hope in me at this point The game or 2 we'll win between Friday and Sunday will be so bitter sweet. The sure thing is that I'm going to get STINKING drunk for these last few game, blast Free Bird and play air guitar. I'll probably shed a tear
