That "America's Next Great Restaurant" show on NBC (Sundays) is pretty fun - I've never been into any of those "reality" type shows, so I don't know how it compares to the rest of the genre, but I've been enjoying it (no doubt because the creator of Chipotle is one of the people involved). I would totally eat at that grilled cheese place if it existed...

Quite possibly the best miniseries the Sci-Fi channel has ever done.
Also watched Patrick Stewart's Hamlet. Loved it.

If you ever come through Cleveland, we have a place here that is the real deal for gourmet grilled cheese. I bet you'd love it.

We also caught up on a bunch of movies we hadn't seen yet:
Megamind
Despicable me
How to train your dragon
All pretty good. Not as good as Rango though.
Am I predisposed to like Johnny Depp in whatever he's in?
Am I alone in this?

which did you like the best out of these? just saw despicable me the other night and thought it was pretty good. my gf wants to see how to train your dragon pretty bad. and i had confused despicable me with megamind at the beginning of it. so i was just curious, after having seen despicable me, how the others compared.

To be honest, I liked all of them.
Megamind and Despicable Me, though both being about villians, are very different. Though I doubt you'd want any details having not seen them.
I guess it depends on whether you like Steve Carrell or the team of Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, David Cross and Brad Pitt better.
I will say that Despicable me is more family oriented.
Watch em all!
But especially Rango. Outstanding
