David Banner shows up in a new town, and instantly meets some new people and they start caring about each other like family within minutes. These new folks are have some sort of problem, whether it's the mob, unsafe working conditions, teen alcoholism, being a midget, or whatever. They get into danger, and David has to Hulk out and throw things. Then he has to leave town, which breaks his heart every single time because he's a gentle, caring father figure to every person he meets.
People used to watch this show and enjoy it for real.

This Incredible Hulk show is just killing me. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it this much, but it's pretty damn funny. Every episode I've seen so far is exactly the same.

The Hulk taught me everything I know . . . about caring.
The 70s were a weird decade. The iconic males of the era pretty much redefined Strong:
Alan Alda
Woody Allen
Bill Bixby
Elliot Gould

What about Arnold Schwarzenegger? I guess he didn't get really big til the 80s but he had some roles. There was Burt Reynolds. It wasn't all dudes that existed to be nonthreatening to women.
