i just watched the house of the devil. its a horror movie made in 2k9 but made to have the look and feel of an 80s movie: shot on 16mm, synth score, loads of classic horror movie angles and whatnot.

it was pretty cool!

being human (usa syfy version) finale show last night was awesome. I love sam huntington.

stargate universe

I've been watching numb3rs on netflix too. Total formula but I enjoy the 'math lessons' and I like it at the end when the brothers and the dad interact (so cute).

The summers of '93 and '94 I worked as an actor in a haunted house in Virginia Beach, VA, scaring the shit out of people for summer spending money (greatest job ever by the way). One of my co-workers was Zach Knighton. He's now got a show on ABC called Happy Endings. It premiered last night, I liked it. At first I heard "comedy on ABC" and thought, okay yeah, sit-com with a laugh track, etc, but watched because I knew the guy. It's a lot better than that, no laugh track, quick dialogue, pretty good overall. Will watch again.

ooooh... new reality show idea: the inner workings and "night of" operations of a halloween "haunted house."

DOLLA DOLLA BILLS, YA'LL!

(unless you say it was a sucky job and boring as shit then nevermind)

Let's see, a 16 year old making $6.50 an hour ('93 dollars) under the table to dress up in scary costumes and scream at people all day? Absolutely the best job ever. Lived at home, all I had to pay for was gas for my car and it was like 95 cents a gallon back then. Those were the days. I knew it was cool then but looking back it was better than I thought.

see ya mix in a few 16yr old kids hooking up in a coffin in the prop room or the 47yr old promoter getting busted for buying booze for the underagers to mix with their mtn dew to get them amped for the night.. could be EXTREME!

We watched an episode of The Incredible Hulk the other night where David Banner gets asked out by some lady when they reach for the same book at the library and the librarian shushes them. They go on a date where they take a picnic basket in a rowboat on a placid lake, and then make out on a shag rug in front of a fireplace. There's this guy who tries to run David out of town because he has a thing for this lady, but it turns out he is just her dad.

This is the best show ever.

I can't remember if I've recommended it here, but even if I have, it's worth doubling down: Eagleheart

I've learned so many things from this show, like there's no such thing as Chinese people for one...

Salt - I didn't think I would like it but I did. She was chick badass like Bourne. I still want to see Hanna.

The Good Guy - bryan geenberg is so yummy.

krista was disappointed with hanna. said it was a very cool concept but that the story didn't play out well despite the great acting.
