That story made it to Fark, and in the comments section I found a link to a UK (where they've had these for years) site documenting vandalism/destruction of the cameras.

wouldn't using black spray paint be more effectice, or you could take a picture from the same vantage point as the camera then attach it in front of the photo camera some how so it would just take shots of the photograph?

black spray paint would be a good temporary solution. the photograph not so much, as you'd have to mount the photo in such a way that light can actually reflect off the photograph properly and not create glare. but then again, if you're just trying to be a dick to the system, i guess it doesn't really matter.

if you wanna get real gonzo, you could make DIY bokeh filters to slap on the cameras.

I ignored two of them and they found me. I paid ,went to class ,had my license suspended for 3 months.

Now I drive the speed limit and when strange dudes come to the door instead of being a nice friendly guy an saying "Hi how are you? Can i help you?" I say "Fuck off and slam the door"

This state is geared towards turning regular nice people into assholes.

I have heard of a group of people that go out in the middle of the night and vandalize these things but, the first rule is i cant talk about it.
