hell yes the commodores are awesome

here's some more good motown:

the four tops - reach out (i'll be there)

the four tops - bernadette

and for the sake of smoothness:
kool & the gang - summer madness (long awesome version with smooth ass synths)

p.s. i am also slightly inebriated

All the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

I like this one better, although the lead singer is so weird and creepy looking in this video...

But, I do love me some soul. I play this song on my record player often.

Message board?

This is The Shizz.

Chromelodeon manages to get all the furniture from their hotel into the lake a few years back...and people are worried about shizzies?

This is genius. There's a bar called The Break Room by my house that has karaoke every night at nine. Every night.

Sweet sweet soul music....Ahhh, yes. Thanks Jen.

I would recommend for those of you that like your John Lennon songs covered by an amazing gospel influenced soul singer with an absolutely tragic ending (not the song, his life :( ).
