this is shaping up to be a really classy night.
we should wear tuxedos.
or turtleneck sweaters with corduroy jackets.

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

What about having guerilla* karaoke hosted by mig50 where all we do is sing smooth music of the yacht rock variety.
* meaning we take over whatever karaoke night we show up to. Like, having flyered events at bars that don't know we're coming; dressed up.

would the bar at least be having karaoke that night? because if you really want to get guerilla, we could just bring our own microphones and a PA and just start singing on some night where they're NOT planning on having karaoke.
"oh, you weren't doing karaoke tonight? we didn't get the message..."

I think that it should be at places that already are having KO that night.
And, that there would be a uniform of sorts to identify those participating: Ties and Skirts.
Thirdly, everyone participating would come prepared to do songs from one artist all night. For instance, I may do 5 or more Doors songs or something.
Is there a Janice Joplin in the house? Buddy Holly? Diana Ross? Waylon Jennings?
You get the picture.

Had a brainstorm with JackieO at the salon7 party re: this.

i'd really like to wear a turtleneck with a corduroy jacket. this would look ridiculous with a tie. so perhaps i'll just wear a skirt.
if you still can't identify me, i'll be the guy singing nothing but prince songs.
