Got in contact w/the editor. Straightened it out. Getting a grand for it. I think that's good, probably could have gotten more as they didn't seem to flinch at that amount.
But anyway, I guess I should probably use $6 bucks and go rent Twilight since I haven't seen it yet.

Why have $994 when you could have $1000 and not want 2 hours of your life back?
Ha. Ha. I think you're right.

The only one who seemed to be able to act his way out fo a paper bag was the guy who played Bella's dad.

I'll admit, the books are completely overrated, I'm not sure why they're as successful as they are other than the teenage girl fanbase (which seems kind of weird to me, considering that the vocabulary is pretty stupidly advanced for a "young adult" book), I view them personally as kind of a guilty pleasure, though I definitely like them way more than I should.

As embarrassing as it is to say, thanks to my girlfriend, I'm now totally a fan of both the books and the movie (though the movie is kind of inferior to the book). Normally I would hate stuff like this (I really, really tried to), and I think Stephanie Meyer's writing style is total bullshit, but I like the story and the characters. The movie is paced wrong but I still find it entertaining, and will be in line for a midnight showing of New Moon on November 20th.

that's basically how i feel (except that i r-patz) i won't be at the first screening the 2nd movie but i will go see it. i finished the second book and now am waiting for my sister to finish the 3rd and then i will read it.
on a similar note:
i finally saw Let the Right One In - and it is awesome. WAAAAAYYYY better than twilight in terms of movie story telling. pretty god damn good. i definitely recommend it.

Just kidding. Although, I did watch it. Let the Right One In was actually super good.
