-trunkspaceAll the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

filet mignon (meat purchased at costco. for my dollar, you could do a lot worse than costco beef.)
asparagus
tomatoes
i did the above 3 items on the grill. the filet was adorned with salt, pepper, and olive oil, then grilled to medium rare. the asparagus and tomatoes sported olive oil and some seasonings, and were finished with a drizzle of balsamic. i felt like a starch was in order, so i also fried up some hash browns. i think typically people associate hash browns with breakfast, but it's really in your best interests to eat them with a good steak.
we paired everything with a cabernet, and ate a bunch of chocolate for dessert. gooooooood times.
on a less spectacular note, i just ate a ham and cheddar sandwich for lunch.

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

saturday: inspired by the scallop dish at binkley's from a couple weeks ago, i decided to sear some scallops and eat them for lunch outside. i served them over a bed of microgreens with a tarragon vinaigrette and sliced grapes. i also grilled a pork tenderloin and topped it with pancetta.
sunday: sausage and onion pizza from grimaldi's in scottsdale. man, this place is good.
monday: we had a bunch of different salamis and cheeses leftover from the weekend, so i dined on those and then i made bruschetta with brie, apples, and olive oil. also, at lunch on monday i got sushi and ate it outside under a tree. the sushi itself wasn't that great, but the weather was perfect (see the "march is the best month" thread for details).
tuesday: i had to fly to san diego for work, and i budgeted a couple of hours to go sit on the beach and eat fish tacos.
what will today bring? i'm in north scottsdale. any suggestions?

Last night Marty and I took our ol' ladies to Los Dos Molinos on Central south of Baseline and I had the Chicken Enchilada plate smothered with Green Chili and topped with a fried egg.
Message board?
This is The Shizz.
Chromelodeon manages to get all the furniture from their hotel into the lake a few years back...and people are worried about shizzies?
