Where the wild things are is awesome. I've heard there is really good voice talent on this and that it is altogether a pretty serious movie. I mean, the subject matter is pretty deep if you ask me. And anything that has Catherine Keener in it is tops.

Where the Wild Things Are was supposed to be out, but the production company thought it was too 'scary' and that Max was too 'unlikeable.' So in other words, Spike Jonze is probably re-vamping what would've been a classic. but yeah, images have been available for maybe six months.

20-page picture books are rarely good fodder for full-length children's movies. I wonder about this adaptation.
