trailer was rad, as far as voltron and thunder cats...they both own G.I. Joe. Joes are just men who do...stuff? their legs can spin around really fast, and they get lost easily but other than that what are they good for? Thunder cats are fucking cat people, CAT PEOPLE! Giant robots are a whole nother thing, they would kill either one- easily, unless joe and cat joined forces..whoa, now thats a movie. Micheal Bay can direct

I'm going to play the crank . . .
It looks stunning, but . . .
I get the feeling this movie is going to be drenched in malaise to make it more adult friendly.
And while that was an undercurrent in the book, I think it'll far overshadow what could/should be the attraction for kids: pure magical escapism.
It doesn't have to be the lazy Ron Howard puke-fests they turned the Dr. Seuss movies into, but . . . lets back off the bitter in bitter-sweet.

the trailer looks good! bummers about reshoots. they could be good or bad - its all speculation right now. I've learned to not get super overly excited about movie adaptations because i am almost always let down.
Yeah But Jacki R Patz is one of the Wild things in this!!

20-page picture books are rarely good fodder for full-length children's movies. I wonder about this adaptation.
P.S. I hadn't heard of it until now either.
