i dressed up in clothes from the 70s today just to give the old dudes i work with nostalgia boners.

Everytime I wear a piece of clothing not made in the last decade, these guys have to reminisce about the good old days.

old dude i work with: You know what i was doing when that dress was made? I was fighting in Vietnam!

I am very excited for this show that i am in at the Mesa Contemporary Arts Center! I walked into the gallery today and it's the real deal. A museum gallery! There were over 340 submissions and they only accepted 48 artists! I'm totally bragging because as of late i'd been submitting my work to lots of places and getting lots of rejections which was bumming me out. This couldn't have come about at a better time for me.

I keep thinking about the moment i walked into the gallery space with my sister this morning and we both smiled at each other. I will keep coming back to that moment for a while. I hope i never forget it.

Guess What?!?!

I was the Juror Award Winner for that show!!! I just got a letter informing me of the award yesterday!

I get a bunch of money too!!!!
