Star Trek. cuz according to the movie where next gen crew goes back in time with the borg, the people left were surviving after a "wwIII" type scenario and aaaahh=first contact, that's it. Anyhow borg are trying to stop warp speed from happening. and IMHO, how the fuck are you gonna stop Hogget from Babe, the movie from attaining warp speed? Nuh uh. Then the vulcans came and I was all like "what's up? Wanna go steady?" And they were all like "that is illogical, but let's procreate nonetheless" and I was all like "sweet!"
seconded.

(Barny Miller! Dude, that show was killer.)
one of the best under-appreciated themesongs ever.
Also, Alan Moore wrote a comic in the late 80s called Miricle Man, basically ended the story w/ the Hero [accidently] destroying England, and then rebuilding the world into a Utopia.
Sort of post-apocalytic, but more of a moral one.

-trunkspaceAll the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.
