We gonna meet up for dinner or anything before the show?

we're playing in tucson tonight, and i imagine we'll probably leave there around noon tomorrow. so we'd get in around 2?

nowhere man and a whiskey girl actually play at 6, so eat early! although i think hot licks serves food, too. and there are a ton of restaurants right around there.

We just got home a little bit ago, from bisbee, I am tired, sore, and my ears are still ringing. So ya know it was a great time


IT was AWESOME, we had such a great time seeing all the folks out there, everyone was amazing.


Can't wait for the next Shizzbee!!!

i'm sure there will be more rabid praise for this event, but right off the top of my head:

nowhere man and a whiskey girl - first time i'd seen them. sooooooooooooooooooooo good. amy has a lovely voice. all of the bisbee acts were really good, but i was especially captivated by nmaawg.
the "sweetbleeders" - i did not want to have to get up on stage after you played. it had to have been a let down.
worrymen and former friends - holy crap, both of these bands sounded so excellent in this venue. maybe it was the environment or the beers (or both) but that place just sounds awesome.
my favorite song on the comp is the necronauts song, and they fuck shit up when they play it live (i mean that in the best possible way).
and of course, the fatigo orchestra was a perfect ending. 8 people on stage? 9? plus the sergio mendoza orchestra guys at the end?

seriously, one of the best shows i've ever been a part of.

yep, one of the best shows ever :-) the music scene in Bisbee on Sat night was staggeringly good. WTF?

Bisbee Breakfast Club was so good late Sunday morning, too. Kartchner Caverns - also awesome.

this was rad! thanks to all the shizzfolk for making the trek down south. lots of the bisbee folks have been buzzing about this show. it was so nice to have an eclectic night of music instead of the regular bar bands that play in town. every band ripped it up and fatigo's jam session at the end was ridiculous. the former friends made my ears bleed in the best possible way. who knew the emperors of japan had such nice upper bodies?
i got to flirt with jackie o.
i feel like i got punched in the liver but it was totally worth it.

very fun show, bisbee was rad. good seeing corndoggydog! <3 former friends is now one of my favorite az bands. matt plz don't stop playing with them (or EOJ for that matter)! you guys played such a fantastic set. everyone played really good, the sound at hot licks was awesome. we went house on the bisbee breakfast club as well! when are we going back?
