ha yea he tried, i really enjoy his music actually, i just think he is a similar to henry rollins in that they both have inflated ego's that are not really justified.

you don't see sonny k writing a book about how he got beat up at a monsula show, not that it's the same as being on jerry springer but i think you get what i mean.

ok cool, couldn't find the bong rips from the road book online, was it a underground publisher? like i said i really like swing kids and the locust just as i like black flag, just not really interested in jp as a person, same as i'm not interested in a lot of artists personal lives. i am sure you must have had an experience with some person throughout your life that left a bad taste in your mouth that you wrote off.

well I can talk about how I kinda think its silly this dude is writing a book/or how i don't think it is silly because i would totally go to an Ian MacKaye spoken word, and how I read the Ben Weasel and Dr. Frank and Jeff Ott books.

Not so much a commentary on JP but I really don't care for the idea of people writing their memoirs at 30. Whether its Dave Eggers or Justing Pearson. Who gives a fuck. Your parents were mean, you turned to expressing yourself artistically...big fucking deal.
