I'm a book nerd so I'm big into LibraryThing and Goodreads, both sites where you can keep a catalog of your books, lists of books you've read or want to read, write reviews, and talk about books with other nerds.

Friend me on Goodreads LOL

(I purposely didn't include games like WOW and secondlife which are very social indeed but aren't really used through a web browser like everything else previously mentioned)

WAT

actualy, we use vent for voice chat for raids, but it kinda turned into a voice chat room where people will log in to chat wile playing other games/not logged in to wow....

http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php

ill hang in there if im on stand by for a raid, or playing some xbro, or just dicking around on the interweb. im jaming a bunch of beep city shit in the music chnl for our guild right now....

edit: for the non wow nerds, just think of it like a chat room except with your voice instead of reading shit on the screen....

Watch the clip when he was on fox news. I love how he handles himself. I hate fox news.

FOX News is so fucked...

I watched some of the clips from his actual video: great shit! I second the recommendation

It's the closest thing to jiggs I could think of, while sounding juvenile and hilarious at the same time.

thought this was kinda cool..

http://blog.foursqua...-on-foursquare/

Check in and vote on foursquare
Oct 28th

With election day right around the corner, we’re giving people yet another reason to go to their voting booth on Tuesday (in case choosing your government isn’t reason enough): a new ‘I Voted’ foursquare badge. On election day, simply head out to your local polling station and check in when you vote to unlock the badge.

We’ve also created a data-filled map, in partnership with Rock the Vote, the Pew Trusts, Google, the Voting Information Project, Engage, Twitter Vote Report, and Jess3, to share a sampling of foot traffic at each polling location. You could see that women are voting more than men in Arizona, or that turnout is especially high in Southern New Hampshire. It’ll all be live throughout the day at elections.foursquare.com, and you can stop by Tuesday morning for an embeddable version for your own website.

Though we’ve encouraged people to do things like work out and eat healthily, this is our first step in encouraging users to check in for a great civic cause. We hope you like it, but most of all, we hope you and your friends get out and vote this Tuesday.

P.S. For those of you voting by mail, simply check in anywhere in the US on Tuesday and shout ‘I Voted’ to unlock the badge. Every vote counts!
