I have a match schedule printed out and on the fridge. I've also apologized ahead of time to my partner in crime for the impending yelling at the tv. Poor fella has no idea what he's in for.

All the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

i guess the general idea is the same, off sides, shoot on the net, but other then that?

I did. I said I don't think either is boring. To me they are the exact same game. There are probably way more shots on goal in hockey but still, grass vs ice.

Soccer I would say is every bit as physical as hockey too. If you don't thing so I'd say you haven't watched enough soccer in your life.
