spain was awesome today. and germany spanked argentina. im for a dutch v. espana final with the winner being....spain. they just have hotter players.

i'm hoping that spain spanks germany, i just hate germany so much, so them losing is good enough for me.

i'm hoping a netherlands/spain final as well.

Yeah, I don't know why I hate the German soccer team, I just do. Germany is a beautiful country but I want their soccer team to get totally destroyed by Spain. I'll be happy if anyone but Germany wins since the other 3 contenders have never won. Oh wait, Uruguay has won. Ok so I'll be happy if Spain or the Dutch go all the way.

the end of ghana vs. uruguay was intense!

i would feel bad for gyan except he sent the USA home, so i don't.
i guess that red card by suarez was pretty smart.

I know Ghana blew it, but fuck suarez. And wasn't it Mensah that took that penalty kick? I might be wrong. I don't know. I'm rooting for Uruguay now, but still.. fuck suarez.

this is probably germany's cup though you can never count out the dutch. unless spain suddenly plays like it does in ea sports games, the germans should easily move on to the finals to face the dutch who shouldn't find too much threat from a suarez-less uruguay.

the dutch seem to fruity to pose much of a threat, but I can't back Uruguay so it looks like Netherlands/Germany is eminent, as the Germans will probably roll the Spaniards. I hope Netherlands have learned a couple things since 1940.

hahah fruity? a few of them yes but they play pretty hardcore... they basically physically punked the brazilians

and i can't think of anything they appear to have learned since 1940... they still seem to quibble amongst themselves like, well, little dutch children

I was basing this on my general feeling towards the country , not the actual team, The Oranje are pretty tough, plus the uni's burn my eyes.

i think holland will take it. maybe 1-0

not sure, they are both really similar in my opinion, they both like to keep possession and both like to pass a lot. we'll see what happens.
