first of all, funky fm music just really does it for me. Even if it's something corny like early mariah carey I can get way into the music with the fm bass and keys going on. Then, there's everything else in this song. The enigmatic title. The synth programming brings out all the right emotional responses in me: leads that remind me of thunderforce (even if the portamento isn't quite as exaggerated), chording synths that remind me of very old and charming genesis osts like super monaco (except somehow they don't sound as flimsy here), and of course a solid bass. Great original motifs, interesting harmonies, good melody, rhythm.. everything that can make a song great is here!

i remember hearing that it was actually overstock from another big name vineyard, but they didn't want to flood the market and dilute the price or brand of their "major" label, so they rebranded the same wine as charles shaw and sold it for cheap. they basically made no profit from the charles shaw, but made big profit because they could still sell their fancy brand at a higher price. i don't know if that's true or not.

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

The pilsner is better, I must say.
Also, I am a lager snob these days. Only a few I genuinely enjoy.
I'm going to start a health consciousness campaign for beer drinkers that goes something like:
Tired of your beer gut? Sit ups getting you no where? You're a lager drinker, right? (Wah Wah trumpet sound)
Tried the light beers? No flavor right? Might as well drink water or something, ha!
Have you tried drinking stronger beers, but less of them? Get just as drunk off of a few strong beers instead of carting around that
24pack on your middriff, and let your workouts mean something!
In conclusion: Don't be a pussy, drink strong beer.
(wine is also healthy)

even at 3.99, you're probably not going to find a better bottle of wine at that price.
agreed.
