So why do we think this kid did this. What has the congress woman done that would warrant such a senseless act. Her office was targeted after she voted yes on the health bill. She won against the tea party canidate it Tucson and I guess it was a pretty nasty race. They were talking to one of the az congress reps on CNN and he said it the best I think. That it's time for politicians to stop being so negative against each other and to put forth a better example of what our government should be.

This is a terrible terrible sad thing.  The little girl's story is heartbreaking.  Just awful.  

And I'm sorry, the political parties in this country have gone too far, but it sounds like this might be more about someone who was very disturbed rather than a right wing thing.  Let's at least hear all the facts before we call Palin an assassin for example.  I mean she's a douche and clearly irresponsible and that is something to take a look at, but let's see hear what actually happened before launching into the political side of this.  

My heart goes out to all of those poor people, those families, and to the community down there.

It's kinda like the arguments in the 80s about rock lyrics - crazies and dummies are going to take your words literally. You need to think before you speak to mobilize people - don't encourage them to "take aim" or "reload" unless you know what that might cost in terms of consequences.

Unfortunately, someone this morning on the national level called him on it saying it wasn't his job to say some of it.  I disagree.  We need to let this stuff out and I'm glad he did.
