The only difference is the register.
Can't we all just get along?

somewhere down the line someone needed a bass player and they had the balls
to take on the task.
But all the finger picking/slapping/tapping mother fuckers out there
like myself always wanted to play bass. There is no other instrument
for c-sik, it has become a part of me and my personality.
And regardless of what happens in my life, I will always have my bass(es).
A guitar player can afford to hit wrong note every now and again because:
1. alot of the time theyre all distorted to the max and no one would ever know.
2. half the fuckers play sooo fast and loud that its burried
3. in jazz the wrong note becomes right (with the right player)
4. theyre fucking guitar players, who cares. (no offense to all my 6 string buddies)
When I hit a wrong note (which is alot) there is no escaping it, everybody knows,
especially my band mates (the most talented and challenging guys Iv ever met).
And to all the females out there knocking down the low end, I give ya'll props.
Manipulating those strings aint like twisting kittens, it takes some strength.
Maybe Mr. Miles would like to come over to my house and tackle my upright for awhile.
I guaranfuckintee your little wrists would be begging for mercy after ooh about a minute.
Ok I think Im done with this one (for a while)
OH YEAH! I cant beleive I forgot Geddy Lee, sorry Geddy.

lightning bolt?
those guys are so rad they don't even need guitars in their bands
-trunkspaceAll the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.
