Quite a good combination.
Apparently, they're touring together this fall.
Since Phoenix is most likely out of the equation, I am seriously consdering travelling to see them perform together.

the old drummer from Napalm Death, also the creator of the Scorn and Lull projects, Mick Harris - the singer for improvisational/ avant-garde/ pop duo Eyeless In Gaza - collaborate on 12 ballads (murder is the case) -
i picked this up at work after reading several reviews (needed to know if it was worth my 3 hours) - am a fan of Eyeless In Gaza - and liked Painkiller (Mick Harris was the drummer) -
this is sumptuous -
3 and one-half hours of blank electronics and taffy-stretched vox -
all about murders -
bringing me to a point - what, does anyone know, is "isolationist" music? - furthermore, what is "post-isolationist" music? - both of these terms were used in the review of this very austere and deliberate recording - if anyone follows this "genre" (as it were), please describe it to me - i enjoyed this collection very much and am curious if there are others i should check out -
