guess i'm late to the party, i'm just finishing the collection now (their first album should be arriving in the mail tonight).

also, i forgot that my friend bought me T.Rex - Electric Warrior for a late xmas present so i've been listening to early 70's uk glam rock too. Bang a Gong (Get it On) is totally my jam at the moment.

Your Red Sparowes chatter got me listening to the new album in my car.

That's one drawback to buying in large quantities. I tend to overlook stuff cuz I'm not "feeling it" when I first listen, and I pop something else in.

But yes. They is good. Me like.

All the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

And that conversation reminded me of Phleg Camp for some reason. I just found Ya'Red fair scratch for $2 online.

Happy.

As a matter of fact, yes.

That 7" is why I bought Ya'red, back in high school.

Today was a day where I basically thought about music all day, so I went record shopping after work and spent far too much money.
Whatever, I've had a very busy week so far, and I think I deserve it.

Black Dice ~ Creature Comforts
Boards of Canada ~ Trans Canada Highway
Final ~ 3 (JK Broadrick ambient project)
Graf Orlock ~ Destination Time Yesterday
Josef K ~ Entomology
Junior Boys ~ So This is Goodbye
Lightning Bolt ~ s/t
Lupe Fiasco ~ Food & Liquor
Ohmega Watts ~ The Find
Pajo ~ s/t
Sunn O))) ~ Black One
John Zorn, Mike Patton, Trevor Dunn, and Joey Baron ~ Moonchild: Songs Without Words

Now I have new music to listen to....while I organize my music collection.

I just got that Final record last week. Amazing stuff. Justin Broadrick rarely lets me down with any of his projects. Ever listen to Head of David?

I had heard the name, but wasn't familiar. I just did a bit of researching/snooping, and Dustbowl seems pretty tough to find at a decent price.

I am regarding this as a challenge.
