Jesu - Conqueror import (I'm mourning)
I think it comes out today. I'm not sure I want it right now. I would go so far as to say that "fucking angry" describes my thoughts about that whole thing.
Listening to my ipod on shuffle at work. I forgot all about Wilderness. They kick ass in that old-school PiL way.

i was introduced to Wilderness a couple months ago. I really like their first album, still haven't gotten around to their second though.
The second one didn't pack the same punch, imo. I think I need to give it a better listen, like, while I'm driving or something.
First one's awesome, though.

Doomriders ~ Black Thunder (Thanks to those who mentioned it in this topic)
So so good.
they were so unpretentious and real; that was when indie music was actually something more meaningful instead of prefab haircut band in the requisite ironic tight t-shirt well groomed for the latest issue of magnet...you know? evreything seems so formula driven now, even indie music.
I was thinking about this a little while back myself. Indie rock was so different then. Could there be a Pavement now? Is there any bands like Dinosaur Jr.? Off the top of my head, the only band putting out records now with that same vibe is Mission of Burma, and I don't think they really count since they are from that era.

Mastodon - Leviathan. I like this album much, much more than Blood Mountain, although I can't stop listening to This Mortal Soil.
