I think from X-Polynation to the end of that album is as good as anything they've done. Book of Flags is an awesome song.
I think I'm going to go listen to it now.

i discovered x-polynation when i downloaded the x-polynation/book of flags 7", but i didn't realize x-polynation was from power until a couple days ago.
the performance of it on burn to shine is excellent.

I think this is like the third time Q and Not U has come up in this thread...
Different strokes I suppose. I think all of their albums are equally good for different reasons. Each album was different from the previous one while still retaining their sound. They've said in interviews that their albums were influenced by the albums they were listening to at the time. Around the time Power came out, they were citing dance records as their influences. Honestly, I think a the reason a lot of people wrote off Power because of the "dance" vibe of Wonderful People. It's sad because there's some really tight songs on that album. I bet if they lead off with something Wet Work or Tag-Tag the opinion on that album might not be as extreme.
Anyway, back on track:
Chisel - 8 a.m. All Day. This helps wash away the crap covering Living With the Living.
Shellac - Excellent Italian Greyhound
