I tried playing fucked up a few different times. For me it's one of those things that seems like a good idea at the time. However the recorded results were always abysmal. Miles was great smack or not but I wish he would have stayed away from it. There is a fine linie between opening your mind and taking a one way trip through the looking glass. With that said I can't even smoke a cigarett and play, I can barely play half the time.

When I get messed up, I play messed up, there is really nothing that drinking or anything else
will do to help my playing.

All the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.
