Still haven't listened to all of this... Made it through 3-5 songs on the way to band practice one weekend and had to switch to something else. It was just way too metal.Krallice ~ Dimensional Bleedthrough.
The best album I've heard in the past few years. And shit, it's black metal. This band is incredible.

I've been curious about the first two for some time, and I plan to pick up Black Cobra on your recommendation alone.Lustmord - Paradise Disowned
Chris & Cosey - Pagan Tango
Black Cobra - Bestial (don't think I will ever tire of hearing this record)
My appreciation for black metal comes from just listening to the texture of the music. I don't focus too hard on the other stuff.Still haven't listened to all of this... Also, it's headphone music. Not car music.
Russian Circles ~ Geneva
Beautiful.
Dan Friel ~ Ghost Town
Noise guru from Parts and Labor. Solo album of melodic analog noise.
Future of the Left ~ Last Night I Saved Her From Vampires
One of the last great rock bands. Live album. God I love them.
Autechre ~ EP7
Dropp is one of the coolest songs ever.
Negativland ~ These Guys Are From England And Who Gives A Shit
Audio excerpts documenting the entire lifespan of Negativland's U2 controversy. Not recommendable, but invaluable to geeks such as myself.

this week i got
WALLS-one sided 12" (man, what a face punching record. so stoked i grabbed it)
EXTORTION-loose screws 10" (violence from Australia. its alright. something about this band just doesnt grab me)
Almost bought the Extortion 10" last night but passed. Also, I saw that Gern Blandsten remastered and re-released both Rorschach LPs in a sweet 2xLP package. Looks rad and I almost bought that as well. But,.....there was just too much good shit in the used sections.

I must have listened to "Race You" almost a dozen times today. It's probably the exact type of poppy song I would hate if I heard it on the radio (or a commercial) first, but since it was daytrotter...
1 2 3 set, ready set go
May heaven help you if you're slow
