i listened to 'mirrored' for the first time in ages a couple weeks ago and it just really doesn't hold up for me.
that being said, i'm sure i'll still check out the new album, but i'm not overly stoked about it.

Just found out these dudes are playing a free show a 5 minute walk from my house next week at Brandeis. No way I'm getting in.
Yeah that's what I like about it. Their EPs are so very different from "Mirrored" and I sort of feel like this is what they would be putting out if "Mirrored" didn't happen.
Already have Man Man tickets for late May; which you would know is a big deal if you knew how often I get out to show.

I've been looping the new Foo Fighters single, "Rope", for a while. It's been a long time since I've heard anything new on the radio I like this much. It's like a blend of all my favorite rock bands from the 90s...Dave Grohl has got to be one of my favorite musicians, even after all these years. Looking forward to the new album, even though I wasn't that impressed by the last one.

Probably Heresy or Purifying Fire. The stuff he recorded with SPK is really good too. He's actually playing a show in Brooklyn at the Unsound festival next month. Looking forward to seeing it.
