Have you tried Tubi TV? They're streaming it in Canada.

Just reinstalled the app and MOTHER OF GOD MY LIFE HAS BEEN SAVED BY 3NGAG3

I'm so fucking angry that One Punch Man season 2 isn't available in Canada. Legally, illegally, anything. No one is uploading the episodes so far, except like one person who had to remove episode 1 immediately. I've hit up all of my trusted sources and none of them yielded even a hint at a result.

At this point I would basically have to get a VPN, set my proxy to one in the states, pay for a Hulu account (which I don't think I could do with a Canadian credit card and billing address), and watch it that way. Capitalism has stifled my freedom of information by way of anime region restrictions YET AGAIN.

#1396886 Controversial game opinions zone

Posted by Demonstray on 28 March 2019 - 03:54 PM

Oh yeah, he stopped giving a shit about us sometime between when he started dating Vivi/Almalexiel, and when he went whole-hog into doing PR for famous video game composers. Honestly great for him, gaining traction with that career. But like also fuck him for some of the stuff he's said to Shizzies in the relatively recent past. So I'm conflicted.

#1396453 Depression And Other Social Issues

Posted by Demonstray on 16 March 2019 - 01:05 AM

chimonstray has generalized anxiety, which is the only form of anxiety that is neither caused by anything, nor treatable with healthy and constructive self-talk. All other forms of anxiety are treatable (never curable as there is no such thing as a genuine cure for anxiety or depression, just like with any other mental illness) with a balance of either talk therapy or corrected self-talk and medication.

Irrational anxiety is not caused rationally but is treated with rationality, like all other forms of anxiety with the one exception. That is, according to the DSM-5 wherein my therapist gets her information, the biggest factor in approaching the treatment of irrational vs generalized anxiety.

I beat my social anxiety in an unconventional way: being forced into a job interview by my best friend at the time, and finding out that it was at a family fitness & sports facility, which in turned forced me to work so heavily on my customer service and conversation skills that I got a compliment within my first year working there for being "charming" by an elderly lady. And whose opinion besides old ladies' should one truly trust about charm?

#1396340 What games are you playing now?

Posted by Demonstray on 12 March 2019 - 02:33 PM

I've been playing PC-FX, and Snapple won't stop being tsundere about it. I'm playing a patched copy of Zeroigar, the system's only shmup, which has more story than you would expect in a shooter. I've got a legit Japanese copy too, but it's rad to play it in English.

B-but senpai...

Gonna see Captain Marvel tonight with chimonstray and a couple of work friends. I'll let y'all know what I think!

EDIT: I loved it. They even did a good job with the digital de-aging on Sam Jackson and Guy Who Plays Agent Coulson. Very charming performances all around, and a lot of fun!

#1396059 Pole. Has handheld technology changed how we use the forum?

I much prefer the desktop version but I find myself almost exclusively accessing it via mobile because of how life unfolds. Also because depression keeps me on the couch when the computer is literally a metre away.

#1395646 What happened to you at work today

Posted by Demonstray on 25 February 2019 - 10:19 AM

Work culture just needs to die IMO. My ideal scenario is that slowly automation takes over with ongoing advancements in AI, whatever companies have the gall to charge the same prices for goods and services are boycotted, and eventually no one has to work if they don't want to and nothing costs anything.

I know. I'm a lazy sack of shit and dreaming real hard, but there doesn't exist a job that I would enjoy long-term, and there never will exist any such job. I like my co-workers in my shitty retail job, and I love producing, mixing and mastering music, as well as composing, but if I were reliant on it, I'd start to hate that too.

Can capitalism just exit stage left please? Because it's not right.
