The sickness had better not attack you any harder than it already has, Ken Oh. Otherwise I'm seeking vengeance and not coming back until I have it.

There are lots of Russell Crowe films that ought to be recommended, but I don't feel qualified to recommend them because I usually watch them for reasons *other* than them being Russell Crowe movies.

I'd watch a movie riff show with regular sketch intervals called Toxic Masculinity Theater.

Also, your Stardew Valley comment has not gone unnoticed B)

I really wanna see all of the controllers that people have referred to as "paddles" but embedded into an actual paddle or an oar.

#1422650 Controversial game opinions zone

Soulsbornes are good bro you just haven’t tried the right strain bro try this one it’s called demons souls it’s a more chill arcadey one it’s a different strain I swear

Perfect post. The position of Souls fans oscillates between "Yeah but if they lowered the difficulty, there would be nothing unique about the game" and "Yeah but despite the alienating fanbase and objectively unnecessary difficulty curve, it's the best game". I guess Undertale is the actual new Dark Souls, when reduced to those statements. Lore is cool (in Dark Souls) but FromSoft just don't make my particular brand of "fun games™", which is fine because the game industry has consistently been very diverse.

I will 100% use any guide or FAQ to help me get through any game that's causing me some irritation (e.g. trying to solve a puzzle) because I don't have all the time in the world.

Me too. Been playing Yakuza 0 over the past week because I already played the Kiwami remake of the original a while ago, and there's a pretty regular interval of walkthrough consultations going on in my playthrough because like 70% of the main quest is common sense while only like 10% of the side quests can be completed on common sense lmao

Well, tone is actually all in the fingers,

Tone is in the balls, next to your pee. I think one ball is for pee and the other is for tone. If you lose a ball, the other has to work overtime, cause there's also cum (which is really just tone juice)

Stop, you’re giving me a toner

All of TheShizz has been leading to this moment. We finally made it.

Scratch that: I won't be needing a backup waifu, because she's giving me the fuck-me eyes now.

I'll salt your earth.

Also correction to the above post: nurse outfit, not maid. She is a nurse and I already knew that, so I dunno why I said maid lmao

what if, hypothetically, i said they both look like shit?

Galaxy brain take.

I think if you took the style from the first one and the proportions of the outfit from the second, you'd have some dope-ass character art. The way they currently are, I cannot understand what the artists were thinking in the process of creating either of those versions of the character.

Also, I picked a girl to try to marry later because she's adorable and I have a type, but I'm afraid she might be a sociopath because she has barely ever displayed any emotion for 3 in-game months.

So I'm curious now about what is exactly your type and does it include accepting a reasonable chance of sociopathy?

My type is glasses and a maid outfit.

Realizing the stiffness of my interactions with her took longer than I'm willing to admit. I WAS BUSY, OKAY, I was doing shitloads of farm stuff! Too busy to process what people were actually saying to me.

I'm knee-deep in Story of Seasons because why wouldn't I? Lifelong Harvest Moon fan gonna live that virtual life.

Knee-deep, in the context of my progress of the game, is nearing the end of autumn in year 1. I'd say spring of year 2 is usually where one is approximately genitals-deep. Crotch-deep? These games aren't just for dudes, despite what Natsume believed for much of the 90s and 2000s.

Anyway holy shit this game is hard compared to the HM games I've played (Gameboy ones, 64, Back To Nature, Save the Homeland, a bit of A Wonderful Life and about as much Magical Melody). Stamina is a precious commodity and it's basically impossible to recover a meaningful amount until you build the kitchen, which itself is a blueprint you have to buy for a lot of money. So basically for the first chunk of the game your farm is getting overrun with boulders and dozens of trees, EACH of which take you WEEKS to break or chop down, so resources are scarce. There's hardly anything available to plant until summer when you unlock a second vendor to which to sell and from which to buy. And you only get a horse partway through spring, not getting a cow until later in the season, so getting around is slow and taking care of your animals and crops is immediately overwhelming until like a full season later.

So yeah, the game's difficulty curve is actually a very shallow, tedious slope from hard in the beginning to easier as you progress. It's NUTS. I hear the second game, Trio of Towns, is significantly more fun and intuitive, but I'm no fucking quitter and I will beat this game before moving on, you mark my words.

Also, I picked a girl to try to marry later because she's adorable and I have a type, but I'm afraid she might be a sociopath because she has barely ever displayed any emotion for 3 in-game months. Just in case I get cold feet chasing after her, I've picked a second, clearer and much perkier girl to repeatedly give gifts to according to what a walkthrough said she likes until she shows affection for my character. Just like real life.

1 roll = 1 shit

That checks out. Some of us only poop every 3-4 days.

Actually no joke, up until about 3 years ago, I only had bowel movements every 2-4 days depending on how much I ate. That was a persistent thing from basically my entire life. Even now it feels weird to go every day, but I deal because I don't wanna experience health problems later.
