i'm seriously thinking about going to the grocery store and picking up a couple six packs now...

you should totally do it. think of it as a public service to the un-initiated.

also, i am fully aware that i don't know you, and have no business peer pressuring you.

while pouring the guiness, foam races from the bottom of the glass and races toward the top and looks really fucking cool (even though you can't really tell in the pic), resulting in a nice, thick head.

the cream stout has no foam or head to speak of, but is blacker than night.

the guinness has really weak aromas of dirt and alcohol.

the cream stout has very strong smokey, chocolatey aromas. mmm..

advantage: cream stout

damn! the guinness went down ultra-smooth.

you may not be able to see all the carbonation in the cream stout, but you can definitely feel it when it goes down. ouch.
