Yes there was, it is shutdown now  and no longer exists, unfortunately I don't remember the name of the place

I think it was called Tempe Bowl,  marty took me down and I believe we saw bluetip play there, or maybe it was bluebird, damn I can't remember that far back anymore.

it was the Tempe Bowl and it was Bluetip...those were some fun shows, sliding all over the lanes when you played. The Makeup played there as well..

I didnt know the makeup played there. That would've been great to see....

D, we all saw Bluetip and Bluebird (separate occassions) at the Alley back in the day too. Bluetip was touring with Marty's buddies in Farenheit 454, another Dischord band. That was the loudest shit I had ever experienced at the Alley. I had earplugs in and it still hurt.

K454 was never on Dischord, but they released an album on Slowdime. Bluetip broke up and 2 ex-Bluetip guys formed Retisonic. When they were here last I asked if they remembered Marty and they said "There's a Marty Miller in every town"

we played with jejune and j.e.w. @ the TBowl... it was fun, i really liked that place.

1) form a few teams of 4 or 5
2) Give them names
3) Have them play each other any night that is good for them, like team 1 plays team 2 and team 3 plays team 4, then the winners play eachother a different day.

We could even do this tournament in a single day, and everyone can drink a lot of beer.
