I said something harsh to Donald about this a couple of years ago, and I didn't mean to.

Can't we just say when and where, one night at a time, and people show up and bowl? (I ask this as a non-involved party. I would probably show up, especially at 32nd Street and Indian School, but not bowl, 'cause of my ankle.) Or does that suck the pleasure out of the competition?

Yeah that works too. The event is mostly an excuse to hang hang out, get some beers, ...bowling is really optional.

I forgot that i live right by that alley pn 32nd and Indian school...I think that it is a AMC bowl. I have bowled there before...decent lanes...decent beer prices...The country club bowl is a favorite because it is a small privately owned alley and they have relatively cheap games ($1.50) shoe rental is sometimes free too....and they have Killian's red on tap usually $5 pitchers or maybe it was $4.50.

As far as getting a "real" shizz league together...it really involves dedicated people. For some of you who have never been on a league it can be tough at times to justify blocking out a specifac night of the week for about 3 hours dedicated to bowling....usually for once a week for like the whole year about 72 weeks. And, most leagues you pay $10-20 sometimes more each night which can add up....not to mention any side pots you might play as play. I see your point Mary for to have a Shizz bowling night event we should in practicality just annonuce a night at an alley somewhere and just have people show up bowling or not bowling...
