Each OS specializes in it's own thing, Mac's have been known for years as the de facto standard for Graphics, now they are becoming the standard for Audio and Video too. Linux is great for Web Services like Mail, DNS, FTP, Database, Web, and Web programming because of it's stability. Solaris and Aix are some types of unix that are stable (archaic if you ask me) and are 64bit so that makes it step above the regular 32bit cpus running around right now if you are into number crunching. Microsoft even though it has its fair share of issues is a great os for gaming and desktop publishing. I personally don't see the need for it as far as a server because there is so much better stuff out there (all of this is just an opinion, there is no proof of this that I am aware of that isn't biased to some degree)

Donald, all that shit is boring, video games are all that matters.

Aaron, we're talking about work to avoid doing work. That's ironic in a fucked up way.

You're right, it's too much work to read about work to avoid work while you're at work, it just doesn't work.

ALL RIGHT!!!! Can we get three cheers for Microsoft?

Now that Blaster worm has passed on just a little, we've got NEW CRITICAL SECURITY PATCHES to install today with a hole in the SAME FRIGGIN RPC process. Apparently, someone could just mod s few Blaster lines of code and voila! NEW BLASTER WORM. FUCCCCKKKKK!!!
